Equine Science Team practice starts Monday, Nov. 4 from 7-8:30pm at NEOMED in Rootstown. We'll have a short parent meeting at the beginning of the first practice. We'll meet there every Monday through April to get ready for Horse Bowl and Hippology. After that, we'll continue to meet on Mondays but may go to different places to judge horses before the Judging competition in July. 

All Portage 4-H horse members can participate!  (For State competitions,  kids must be a regular member enrolled in a horse project for 2025.)  State competitions are not required - kids can come to learn and have fun.  They can also earn points for the Equine Science Awards (100 pts for attending 60% of practices)!
